We’ve been over here at Plot No. 9 in Dewan Shah Udhyog Nagar for a good while now. It’s a busy spot in Vasai East, right by Waliv Phata. Most days you’ll hear the machines running from early morning until the sun goes down. We handle a lot of different embroidery work at Sun Flower Embroidery Pvt. Ltd. People bring in their fabrics and we get to work. It’s not always quiet, and sometimes the thread snaps or things get backed up, but that’s just how the textile business goes. We have a small crew here. Some have been with us since we started. The workshop isn’t fancy, just a practical space where we can focus on the needles and the patterns. Being in this part of Vasai means we see a lot of local traffic. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always trucks moving around and people coming in and out. We try to keep things organized, though things can get a bit messy when we have a big order on the floor. Embroidery takes a lot of patience. You have to watch the tension on the frames and make sure the colors match what was asked for. We don’t really do big speeches or flashy ads. Usually, people just find us by word of mouth or they see the sign when they're passing through Waliv. We just show up, do the stitching, and head home. That's pretty much the daily routine for us here.
