We are based at the Hakim Dayem Building on Patthe Bapurao Road in Mumbai. Specifically, we are in Room 21 on the first floor. This part of Grant Road East is always full of energy and people rushing to catch trains or get to their shops. Sumitomo Corp. India Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a while, and the building itself has a lot of character, even if it feels a bit cramped at times. Working in Mumbai means you get used to small spaces and a lot of noise from the street below. We handle various corporate tasks, but it doesn't feel like a movie version of a big office. It’s more about piles of files, ringing phones, and people talking over each other to get things done. We don't have a lobby with a fountain or anything like that. You just walk up the stairs and find us in our room. The fans are usually running at full speed to keep the heat away. We just try to stay organized and keep up with the pace of the city. There is always someone coming in or going out with a delivery or a message. We take our lunch breaks when we can and usually grab something from the local vendors nearby. It is just a normal office life in a busy city. We do our best to keep the paperwork moving so that everything stays on schedule despite the chaos outside.
