Sudhakar Savottam Kini

I am Sudhakar Savottam Kini and I work out of Malad West. My office is located in the Ajay Building, which is off Khar road in Pant Nagar A. I’m up on the 5th floor in flat A. I’ve been in this building for many years. It’s a bit of a climb since the lift is sometimes temperamental, but I don't mind it. It keeps me active. My office is a simple room with a view of the surrounding neighborhood. You can see the trees and the other apartment blocks from my window. I spend most of my day here, surrounded by my files and my notes. I’m a bit of a collector of papers, so things can look a bit disorganized to an outsider. But I know exactly where every piece of information is kept. I handle everything myself. People come to see me when they have something that needs looking at. We sit down and we talk. I don't use a lot of modern technology. I prefer a pen and a notebook. There’s something more reliable about it. Pant Nagar is a nice, quiet area compared to the rest of Malad. It’s mostly families living around here. I’ve gotten to know the regular faces over the years. We share a bit of gossip or news in the lobby. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way to live and work. I keep my books in order and try to stay on top of the requests.
