Our place is at Unit 118/119 in the Shah & Nahar Industrial Estate, A/2 wing, over in Lower Parel. If you know the area, you know it is full of old mills and industrial buildings that are now packed with small businesses like ours. At Styles Baggage Pvt. Ltd., we spend our days surrounded by fabric, zippers, and sewing machines. It is a bit of a tight squeeze with all the inventory stacked up, but we make it work. The building itself is quite old, so the hallways are narrow and there is always someone moving a heavy trolley around. We do not really have a fancy office; it is mostly just the production floor and a small corner with a desk for the paperwork. Lower Parel is always loud and busy with traffic, and that energy kind of spills into our unit too. We have a group of people here who have been sewing bags for a long time and know exactly what they are doing. We do not bother with any fancy marketing or social media stuff. We just focus on getting the stitches straight and the orders packed into the cardboard boxes. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the heat gets a bit much in the afternoons, but we just keep going. It is a straightforward business. We make the bags, we sell them, and we come back the next day to do it again.
