Strawkle Legacy

Strawkle Legacy is based in the Swadeshi Market Building. We are on the 5th floor in Room 238. It’s on Dr Viegas Street, right near Kalbadevi Street. The building is an old one, and sometimes the lift is a bit moody, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s a busy area in Mumbai, always full of people and noise from the market. We’ve been here for a while now. The office isn't very big, just some desks and steel cabinets for all our paperwork. It’s a practical space for us to get things done. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Usually, the smell of chai and spices from downstairs drifts in through the windows. We start early to avoid the worst of the traffic, and most of us take the train to get here. The 5th floor gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding rooftops, which is nice. We spend most of our time at our desks or talking on the phone with clients and vendors. We know the tea seller around the corner pretty well; he brings us chai twice a day. The office probably needs a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We're just a small group trying to keep things moving and stay on top of our daily tasks. It’s a steady place to work, even if it gets a bit chaotic sometimes because of the location.
