Store Keeper

Store Keeper is located in Quantum Park which is right near the Deccan Society on Gulab Nagra in Khar Danda. This is the Khar West part of Mumbai with the pin code 400 050. It is a cramped area like most of Mumbai but we have managed to make the most of our space here. I handle the storage for several different vendors who don't have their own warehouses. The building is tucked away behind some residential blocks so it can be a little hard to find the first time you visit. I usually have to go out to the main road to guide the delivery trucks in. The office is small and filled with folders and old receipts. I prefer writing things down in my big registers rather than trusting everything to a computer that might crash. We have a few big fans to keep the air moving because it gets very stuffy in the afternoons. I have been working this job for years and I know most of the delivery drivers by name. We don't do anything special here besides keeping people's stuff safe and organized. It is a lot of manual labor and checking labels under a dim light. Sometimes we work late when a shipment is delayed by the Mumbai traffic. It is just how things go in this neighborhood and we deal with it.
