Sti Industries

If you ever find yourself on Veera Desai Road, you know it's always packed. Our place, Sti Industries, is tucked away in 208, Damji Shamji Udyog Bhavan. It is a solid industrial building where everyone seems to be in a hurry. We have been working out of this space for a good bit of time. The hallways usually have some boxes sitting out, and you can hear the sounds of other businesses working behind their doors. It isn't a quiet office by any means. We do a lot of industrial work here, dealing with parts and supplies that people need for their own projects. Usually, the day starts early before the traffic really hits its peak. We have a small team, and we mostly know each other's habits by now, who drinks the most coffee and who prefers to work in silence. The room gets a little warm in the summer, but we make do with the fans. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations because that isn't why we are here. Most of our time goes into checking inventory and making sure what we send out is actually what was asked for. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a big shipment comes in, but we always sort it out eventually. It's just a regular spot in a busy part of the city where we try to stay on top of the work and go home satisfied at the end of the day. Our neighbors are mostly other small shops and units, so there is a sense of everyone just trying to get through their own pile of work.
