Sterlite Industries Limited

Working out of Maker Chambers III at Nariman Point means we are right in the thick of things in Mumbai. The office at 92 and 92A is where we spend most of our daylight hours. Even though the name Sterlite Industries Limited sounds like a huge, untouchable entity, the people inside are just regular folks. The elevators in the morning are always a bit of a struggle, and there’s a lot of rushing around in the lobby. Once you get inside our space, it’s a lot of desks, computer monitors, and people talking on phones. We have a lot of history in these rooms, and you can see it in the way the filing cabinets are overflowing. It’s a very professional atmosphere because of where we are, but we still have our little quirks. Someone usually brings in snacks to share in the afternoon, and we have our favorite spots for lunch nearby. The view of the city from here is actually quite nice, though we don't always have time to look out the window. It’s a busy place with a lot of moving parts, and we’re just the ones keeping the gears turning every day. It feels like a community within the building. We focus on our industry work and try to stay on top of everything that comes across our desks in this Nariman Point office. It is a fast-paced environment but we manage to keep things grounded as we work.
