Sterling Kare The Diabeties Clinic is found in Block No A 7 of the Satguru Darshan building on Liberty Garden Road No 3 in Malad West. It’s more of a specialized clinic than a giant hospital, so it has a slightly different feel. Being in a residential building like Satguru Darshan means we are right in the middle of where people live. The walk up to the clinic takes you past some local shops and the greenery of Liberty Garden. Inside, it’s a bit more compact. We focus mainly on diabetes, so you’ll see a lot of people coming in for their regular blood sugar checks and consultations. The waiting area is small, and you might find yourself sitting quite close to your neighbor. It’s a place where the staff gets to know the regulars pretty well because diabetes requires constant visits. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and there are posters about managing sugar levels scattered around. It can get a bit loud when the neighborhood kids are playing outside in the afternoon. We have a couple of consulting rooms and a small area for blood draws. The atmosphere is generally quiet compared to the big city hospitals. It’s just a local clinic in Malad trying to help folks keep their health in check while living their normal lives in the neighborhood. We open up early and close once the last appointment is done.
