Sterliet Group,Hindustan Zinc ,Vedanta

We are situated at 202, Vikas Appartment in Pant Nagar, which is over in Ghatkopar East, Mumbai. It is a typical Mumbai apartment that has been converted into an office space for the work we do under the Sterliet Group, Hindustan Zinc, and Vedanta names. Being on the second floor means we are close to the street noise, and in Ghatkopar, there is always plenty of that. You can hear the trains and the traffic pretty much all day long. The office is not very spacious, so we have to be quite organized with where we put everything. We have our files stacked up and our computers squeezed onto the desks. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs if the lift is being slow, which happens more often than not. We do not have a fancy cafeteria or a gym like the big headquarters do. We just have a small corner for making tea and coffee. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we just get on with it without much fuss. The apartment gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have some fans and a small AC unit to keep things moving. It is just a regular Mumbai workspace where we manage the local side of things. We are not trying to impress anyone with the decor; we just want to get our work done.
