Starchem Industries

Working out of Kurla West has its own rhythm, especially being near the transit camp in Vinobha Bhave Nagar. Our office for Starchem Industries is at number 38 in Bhartiya Nagar. It is a busy, gritty area where a lot of industrial stuff happens. We are surrounded by other small workshops and businesses, so there is always the sound of trucks or people shouting down the street. Inside our space, we deal with all the chemical distribution details. It is not a place for fancy furniture. We have heavy-duty shelves and plenty of logbooks. The air can be a bit heavy sometimes, but we are used to the environment of Kurla. We spend our mornings sorting through orders and talking to the transporters. It is a lot of logistics work. Lunch usually happens at our desks or at one of the small local eateries nearby. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a practical entrance. The team is a bunch of hard-working people who have been in this industry for years. We don't use big words or have long meetings; we just get to the tasks that need doing. It can be quite dusty around the transit camp area, so we are always cleaning the desks. At the end of the day, we just lock up and navigate the crowded streets to get home. It’s just how things are for a business like ours in this part of Mumbai, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
