Star Packaging

Star Packaging is situated on the ground floor of the Aai Mai Merwanjee Building, specifically at No. 3 to 5. We are right on Dr. E. Borjess Road in Parel. It’s a very busy area, especially since we are directly opposite K. E. M. Hospital. There is always an ambulance siren or people rushing around outside our doors. Inside, we focus on all types of packaging work. The space is a bit tight because we have to store a lot of materials, but we make it work. Being on the ground floor helps a lot when we have to move heavy rolls or boxes in and out. The building itself has a lot of history, and you can see that in the walls and the high ceilings. We’ve been operating here for years now. Most of our day is spent measuring, cutting, and making sure the orders are packed right. It’s a lot of manual work. We aren’t a big corporation with fancy desks; it’s mostly workbenches and storage racks here. Sometimes the traffic on Dr. E. Borjess Road makes deliveries slow, but we just plan around it. It's a good spot to be in because everyone knows the hospital, so they never get lost finding us. We’re just a local business trying to do a good job for the people who come to us. We stay busy and keep the floor moving with all the different orders.
