Star Diamond Tools Pvt Ltd is located over in the Ujagar Industrial Estate. If you know Deonar, you know W.T. Patil Marg can get pretty backed up with trucks and vans. We are at unit number 12. It is an industrial area, so there is always the sound of machines or someone loading a van nearby. Inside, it smells a bit like metal and oil, which is normal for what we do. We have shelves filled with different tools and parts that we manage throughout the week. It is not a place for showing off, just a workspace where we get things done. We have a small area for the desk work and a larger space for the actual inventory. The floor is concrete and has some stains from over the years, but it is sturdy. Most of our guys have been here a long time, so we all know the routine and don't need much explaining. We don't spend much on fancy furniture or decorations because it would just get dusty anyway. When a customer calls, we go back to the stacks to find exactly what they are asking for. It takes some time to keep everything organized, but we try our best. Lunch is usually eaten together at the big table in the corner. It is a straightforward way to run a business, and it keeps us busy from early morning until we lock up the gate.
