Our office is located in Room Number 33/1/2 at Kamla Raman Nagar Chawl No. 34E. It’s right opposite the Matunga Road Station in Mumbai, so the sound of the trains is basically the background music for our entire day. Being in a chawl means space is a bit tight, but we’ve made it work for Stagekraft Entertainment. We deal with all sorts of things related to shows and events. The room is usually filled with equipment, cables, and random bits of stage gear. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a few people in here at once. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room; you just walk in and we’re there working. Mumbai is always moving fast, and being so close to the station means we are always in the middle of that rush. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating stuff for different venues. It’s messy work sometimes, and the hours are often long and unpredictable. We don’t mind the noise or the small space because we are used to it. It’s an honest way to make a living in the city. We’ve been here for years, and the locals know us as the entertainment guys from the chawl. We aren't fancy, we just know how to get the gear ready and the jobs finished on time. We take the local trains like everyone else and just keep moving forward with our work.
