Our factory is situated at 32, Sarvodaya Industrial Estate, which is just off Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. If you are looking for us, the best landmark is the Paper Box building nearby. The estate itself is quite old and has that classic Mumbai industrial feel to it. Inside Ssf Plastics, there is always the smell of warm plastic and the sound of the injection machines running. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we have some fans to keep the air moving. We aren't a fancy setup with a glass entrance; it’s a real workshop where people are actually making things. We have stacks of crates and bags of raw material piled up in the corners. The road outside is usually blocked with tempos and delivery trucks, so getting in and out can be a bit of a challenge. Our team has been working together for years, so we have a good rhythm going. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or marketing; we just focus on making sure the molds are right and the parts come out like they should. It’s a hardworking place where everyone knows their job. We eat our lunch in the small office area and then get right back to the machines. It’s just honest, local manufacturing work in the heart of Andheri.
