Sr.Purchase Executive

We operate out of Room No.306 in the Mahatmaji Co-Op Housing building. It’s right on Jerbai Wadia Road in the Parel area. Bhoiwada is a busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always something going on outside the window. As a Sr. Purchase Executive, most of my day is spent talking to vendors and trying to get the best prices for what we need. It’s a small office, nothing like those big towers in the newer parts of the city. We’ve been here in this building for quite a while. The elevator works most of the time, but sometimes it’s faster to take the stairs if you aren't carrying much. It’s a practical space. We have files everywhere and the phone rings a lot. There’s no fancy waiting room here. If you come by, you’ll probably just see me at the desk with a cup of tea. It’s how business gets done in this part of town. We don’t spend money on expensive furniture or decorations because it doesn't help the work. People know us for being straightforward and just getting the job done without any nonsense. Mumbai is a tough place to work if you don't stay on top of things, so we stay busy. It’s a good community in the housing society, and we like being part of the local fabric here in 400012. We don't have any big corporate plans, we just want to keep the purchasing side of things running smoothly for everyone involved. It’s a lot of numbers but we manage.
