Srikrishna Logistics

Our business, Srikrishna Logistics, is located on the 4th floor of the Jay Dev Building at 53, 3rd Bhoiwada in the 400 002 zip code area of Bhuleshwar. If you know Mumbai, you know this is a very tight area. Getting up to the 4th floor every day keeps us fit because the lift isn't always something you want to wait for. The office is right in the heart of the market chaos. You can hear the vendors and the carts on the street even from four floors up. We deal with logistics, so we are constantly managing the flow of goods through these tiny streets. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the porters and drivers are on the same page. The office itself is small and packed with files. We have been here for a long time, so we have a system for everything, even if it looks like a mess to someone from the outside. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that. We have a small window that looks out over the rooftops, which is the only quiet part of the day. It’s a tough place to work because of the heat and the crowds, but it’s where the business is. We just focus on getting the jobs done and keeping our clients happy without any fuss. The tea boy comes by at three, and that’s a highlight of the afternoon. After that, it's back to the phones and the ledgers until late.
