Our workshop for Sri Sai Auto Bulbs Industry is located at B4/B5 in the Byculla Service Industries Premises. If you’ve ever been to Sussex Road or D.K. Marg, you know it’s a very busy industrial area with a lot of small businesses packed together. The building itself is quite old and has that classic industrial feel with heavy doors and concrete floors. We spend our days making auto bulbs, which is a process that requires a lot of attention to detail even though the items are small. The machines hum all day long and there is always a slight smell of heated glass and metal in the air. It’s not the cleanest or the quietest job, but it’s what we do. We have a small crew and most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don’t need to say much to get things done. The area outside can get very congested with trucks loading and unloading goods, so we have to be careful when moving our own supplies in and out. Byculla is a part of the city that never seems to stop, and we are right in the middle of it. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. Our space is purely for production. It’s a straightforward, hardworking environment where the focus is just on meeting our daily numbers and making sure the bulbs are right before they get boxed up and sent out to the customers.
