S.R. Ray & Co ., is located at 24, Surya Kiran Society, which is along 368 Senapati Bapat Marg in Mahim. It’s a pretty good location because Mahim is connected to everything. The Surya Kiran Society is one of those typical Mumbai residential buildings where a few offices have cropped up over the years. Our office is number 24. It’s not very large, but we have enough space for our team and all the audit files we have to keep. Senapati Bapat Marg is always busy with cars and bikes, so there is a constant hum of engines in the background while we work. We usually have our lunch together in the office or grab something from the local shops nearby. The office itself is full of calculators, pens, and stacks of paper. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. When someone comes in, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and helps them out. We’ve been here in Mumbai Central for a long time, and the staff knows each other’s families and lives pretty well. It’s a close-knit group. We don't use much marketing because we’ve always just relied on the work we do. Most days are spent looking at ledgers and making sure the math adds up. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We like the Mahim area because you can get good food just a few steps away from the society gate whenever you need a quick break.
