Square Architects Engineers

Our office is on the first floor of the Sham building, office number 113. We are right on M S R Main Road in Vile Parle East. Square Architects Engineers has been around this neighborhood for a bit. It is a mix of architecture and engineering work here. Some days we are looking at structural issues and other days we are planning out a new floor layout. The street outside is usually loud with traffic, but we get our work done. It is a small space, mostly filled with desks and old rolls of drawings. We handle projects for people around Vile Parle who need someone to look at their building plans. It is not a fancy corporate environment. We wear regular clothes and drink a lot of tea while we work. Sometimes things get stressful when a contractor calls with a problem on site. We have to go down there and figure it out. It is about solving problems more than anything else. Engineering means we have to be careful with the numbers. Architecture means we have to think about how people move through a room. We just try to do an honest job. Most of our day is spent staring at computer screens or marking up prints with red pens. It is a steady pace. People know where to find us if they have a question about their house or a wall they want to move. (250 words)
