We are located at Plot No 66/98, on the ground floor of Touch Wood Plaza in Old Khar. It’s on 33rd Road, which is a pretty well-known spot if you spend time in this part of town. The shop is right on the ground floor so people can just walk in off the street. We sell clothes and accessories mostly. It’s a small space, but we try to keep it filled with interesting things. The name of the shop usually gets a few smiles from people walking by. We aren't part of any big chain, it’s just our own little place. Some days are slow and we just sit and wait for someone to pop in, and other days it’s quite busy with people trying things on. We’ve got a bit of a cluttered look inside because there’s always more stuff than we have shelf space for. We don't really have a big staff, it’s just us taking care of the customers and keeping the place clean. Old Khar has a nice feel to it, a bit more relaxed than some other parts of Mumbai. We’ve been here for a bit now and have made some good friends among the other shopkeepers in the plaza. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in, trying to make the best of every day we’re here, even when the rain makes things a bit quiet and the street gets muddy.
