We have been set up here at Mauli Sadan for quite a while now. Parel is always noisy, honestly. You can hear the trains and the constant traffic on J.B. Marg from our window throughout the day. The office is just a regular room, nothing fancy or modern about it. We spend most of our mornings just setting things up and checking what needs to be done for the day. Some days it gets really hot and the ceiling fan just moves the warm air around, but we have gotten used to it. The neighbors in the building are mostly families, so you see kids running around in the hallways during the afternoons. It is a very busy part of Mumbai, and finding a place for parking is a nightmare if you happen to come in late. We usually just grab our tea from the small stall downstairs twice a day. It is definitely not a big corporate setup. It is just us doing our daily work in a cramped space. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up or gets stuck, so we just take the stairs to the office. It keeps us moving, I guess. We like being in this part of town because everything we need is close by, even if it is always crowded. Most people who come here know the landmark easily. We do not have a big sign or anything. Just our name on the door. It is a simple way to run things.
