Spear Exim Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot 67 in Neel-Madhav Jawahar Nagar, which is over in Goregaon West. Mumbai is a crowded place, and our little corner here is no exception. We deal with export and import stuff, which means we spend a lot of time on the phone or sending emails to people in different time zones. There are always boxes and samples lying around the office. It can get a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is, mostly. We handle the paperwork that comes with moving goods across borders, which is a lot more boring than it sounds. It’s mostly checking numbers and making sure the labels are right. We aren't some massive corporation with a skyscraper. We are just a local team trying to make sure the shipments get to where they are going without getting stuck in some port somewhere. Some days are stressful when a boat is late or a document is missing a signature. We just take it as it comes. The area around Jawahar Nagar is always moving, and we just move right along with it. We have our favorite spots for tea nearby and we just try to do an honest day's work. It’s a simple operation, really, and we like it that way. We don't have any big corporate goals, just getting the containers moved and the bills paid on time for everyone involved.
