Space Makers

Our office is over in Sion, specifically in Flat 105 in the A Wing of the building here. It is more of a home-turned-office really, so it has that lived-in feel. Space Makers started because we wanted a place to work on our projects without much fuss. We spend a lot of time measuring things and looking at floor plans. The building itself is older, but it is sturdy and close to everything we need. You have to buzz the intercom to get up here. Inside, there are stacks of files and some old furniture that we probably should have replaced years ago. My cousin helps out with the paperwork sometimes. We usually have the windows open to catch a breeze, even if the Sion noise comes in with it. It is not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about anything except work for an hour. It is a small team and we have known each other a long time. The commute is okay for most of us, though the rain makes it a mess. We just wanted a quiet corner to do our work and this flat works out fine for what we need. It is not a showroom, just a place where we get things done. We keep things simple and try to stay on top of the daily tasks. We mostly just drink our tea and get through the pile of drawings we have to finish by the end of the week.
