Sound Of Silence

You can find us at Adie Mansion, No. 334. We are right on M. S. Ali Road in the Grant Road East area. The name of the place is Sound Of Silence, which is a bit of a joke because this part of the city is never quiet. There’s always traffic, people talking, and the general noise of Mumbai right outside the door. We’ve been in this building for quite some time. It’s an old place with a lot of character, and we like it here. We work on things related to sound—maybe it's equipment or dampening, but we don't make a big fuss about it. The office is a bit cramped, honestly. We have boxes piled up and wires everywhere. It’s not a "clean" corporate look, but it’s how we work best. We have a few people on the team who have been here forever. We drink a lot of coffee and talk about the projects we’re handling. People from the neighborhood drop in sometimes just to say hello. We don't do any big advertising. If someone needs help with a sound issue, they usually find us through a friend. It’s a very local way of doing things. We stay open late quite often because that’s when it finally gets a little quieter outside on the road. We’re just a small group of people doing our thing in an old building, trying to make things sound a little better.
