This Sony Mony Electronics Ltd branch is over at Prabhadevi 27Th Cross, 4Th Block. It’s a bit different from the other locations because this street is a little narrower. You really have to watch where you park or the police will come by. We have been here for a while and the shop feels like a second home to most of us. We have the walls lined with televisions of all sizes. Sometimes they are all on at once and the heat from the screens makes the room very warm. We have a few fans going, but they just move the warm air around. The 4th Block area is mostly residential, so we see a lot of families coming in. They want to see how the pictures look before they decide on anything. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just show them the features and let them decide. The back office is tiny and piled high with paperwork and old ledgers. I usually eat my lunch there while checking the stock lists. We have a good relationship with the neighbors, and we often share a pot of tea in the late afternoon. It’s a quiet life compared to the main road shops. We just keep the shelves stocked and make sure the place is open on time every morning. It’s a decent way to spend the day in Prabhadevi.
