Solar Machines Pvt Ltd is located in the Fort area, right in the Motlibai Wadia Charities Building. Our space is 22-D on S.A. Brelvi Road. If you know Fort, you know how old and grand these buildings are. Ours has these high ceilings and big heavy doors that have been there for decades. We work with solar-powered machinery and various energy equipment. It’s a quiet office for the most part, except for the sounds of the city coming through the windows. We don't have any flashy signs or modern furniture. My desk is an old heavy one that was here when we moved in. We spend our time looking over technical specs and talking to people who want to move away from regular power. Fort is a busy place, filled with banks and lawyers, so the energy here is always high. We aren't some big new startup with beanbags and free snacks. We’re just a few people who stand by the machines we sell because we’ve seen them work. Sometimes the building's plumbing acts up, or the lights flicker, but that’s just part of being in an old building like this. We like it here. It feels solid. We don't do any aggressive sales stuff. We just explain how the gear works and let people decide for themselves. It’s a practical way to run a business in a historic part of town. We stay until the sun goes down.
