Our office for Soilmec India Pvt Ltd is based in Narayangaon, out in the Pune district. Being at A/P Narayangaon means we are away from the main city buzz, which suits us just fine. We work with heavy machinery and soil equipment. It is a lot of grease, metal, and mechanical talk. Most of our days are spent checking on equipment or talking to operators who are out on various sites across Maharashtra. We aren't sitting in a polished glass building. Our place is more of a workshop and a storage area for parts. When a machine breaks down, we have to figure out why and get it fixed fast. It is stressful sometimes because these machines are expensive and people need them to work. We have a small group of people who actually understand how these big rigs function. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people find us because they use the same kind of equipment and know we are out here in Narayangaon. It is a bit of a drive to get to us, but we are always around. We handle the paperwork, the spare parts, and the technical stuff without making a big deal out of it. It is just a straightforward business centered around heavy earth-moving gear. We like the technical side of things and don't mind getting a bit of oil on our shirts to get a job done right.
