Sohil Gems

You can find Sohil Gems over at the Panchratna building, specifically in unit 116/B. If you’ve ever been to Opera House, you know how it is. It’s wall-to-wall people and businesses. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work. We spend most of our time looking at small stones under the light. It can get a bit tiring for the eyes after a few hours. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. The building is always buzzing with people talking about prices and trade. We keep things pretty low-key. There’s a small desk where we do most of the sorting. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit, but we’ve learned to ignore it. It’s a family-type atmosphere here, even if we aren't all related. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day. People drop by just to say hello or ask about the market. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It’s just us doing what we’ve always done. The lunch hour is usually when the hallways get really packed. We try to get our work done early before it gets too loud. It’s a steady job, looking at gems and making sure they’re what people expect. No fancy decorations in the office, just the tools we need and a few chairs for visitors. It’s practical. It feels like home after so many years in the trade.
