Soften Carriers P Ltd is located over at 3, Bane Chawl in Upper Pakhadi. Mumbai is a crowded city, and our spot in the chawl is no different. It is a tight space, but it is where we do all our work. We handle transport and carrying services, mostly dealing with the local logistics that keep this city running. The walls are a bit thin and you can hear the city noise outside all day long. We do not have fancy office chairs or a receptionist at the front. Usually, it is just one of us answering the phone while trying to eat lunch at the desk. We have been in Upper Pakhadi for a long time now. We know the shortcuts and the streets that get flooded when the monsoon hits. It is a practical business. We do not use big words to describe what we do. We just pick things up and drop them off where they need to go. Sometimes the traffic in Mumbai makes it feel almost impossible, but we have been doing this long enough to know how to handle it. We keep our records in simple files and try not to lose anything in the daily shuffle. It is a bit chaotic at times, but that is just life in Mumbai.
