S.N. Gharpure Engg. & Construction has its roots right here in Chinchwadgaon, Pune. You can find our office at A.A. Kulkarni’s place in Ganesh Peth. We are quite close to the Ganpathi Wada, which is a local landmark most people around here know. Our business is all about engineering and building things from the ground up. It’s not an easy trade, and it involves a lot of planning before any ground is even broken. We spend our days between the office in Ganesh Peth and various construction sites around the city. The office is usually a bit of a mess with drawings and site reports scattered everywhere, but we know where everything is. We aren't the type of company that puts on a big show. We’re more interested in the actual engineering and making sure the construction is done properly. Pune has grown a lot since we started, and we’ve seen the city change quite a bit from our corner in Chinchwadgaon. Most of our staff are local people who understand the area and the way things are done here. It is a lot of hard work, often under the sun or dealing with city permits, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just keep our heads down, focus on the engineering problems, and try to get the buildings finished on time. It’s a straightforward business for us, no frills or fancy talk involved.
