We've been here in the Platina building at BKC for a while now. It's a big glass building in G Block, which is a busy spot in Bandra East. Most days we are just sorting out the trading side of things for technical equipment. It gets pretty loud outside with all the construction and people moving around, but inside we just focus on the paperwork and calls. We deal with various parts and machines that other companies need. Sometimes the lift takes forever in the morning. People know us as Smeets India and we’ve mostly stuck to this same area because it’s easy for the couriers to find us. It's not a fancy setup inside, just desks and computers and some samples lying around on the shelves. We have a small team here. We try to get through the orders as they come in. Bandra Kurla Complex is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but once you find C59, we are right there. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Most people just find us through word of mouth or because they need a specific techno part we happen to stock. It’s just a regular office day for us, making sure the trading goes smoothly and the shipments arrive when they are supposed to. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big shipment comes in at the port and we have to coordinate everything from here in the office.
