Sm Architect

SM Architect is based in Andheri West, specifically in unit E/401. It’s a regular office building, nothing too over the top. We’ve been working from here for quite a while now. The space is a bit tight because of all the drawing boards and computers we have squeezed in, but it works for us. Most of the time, the room is quiet except for the sound of the fans and someone typing away. We do a lot of residential work, so we’re always looking at how people live and how to make their spaces a bit better. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they live in the neighborhood and saw our sign. We spend our mornings going through emails and our afternoons usually involve some sort of drafting or site visits. Andheri West is always busy, so getting to sites can take some time, but it’s part of the routine. We like the local vibe here. There’s a good sense of community among the businesses in this block. We aren't a corporate giant, just a small team of architects who enjoy the process of putting a project together from scratch. It’s mostly about the practical side of things, like making sure the plumbing goes where it should and the walls are straight. We have a small radio that plays music in the background most days while we work.
