Over in Matunga East, in the Mahavir Building within the Mahavir Compound. We are located in what everyone calls Full Gali. It’s a narrow lane, but it’s always got something going on. Matunga is known for its food and its old-school Mumbai charm, and we’re right in the middle of it. The building is one of those sturdy old structures that has seen a lot. Inside, things are a bit cramped because we’ve packed in as much as we could over the years. We’ve been running this for a long time. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the window when the monsoon is heavy, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. We aren’t trying to be a high-end studio. It’s just a place for people to come and sweat a bit. The regulars are mostly folks from the nearby buildings who have been coming since we first opened. We talk about the local news, the price of vegetables, and whatever else is happening in the Gali. It’s not a quiet place; you can hear the sounds of the street outside all day long. But that’s Matunga for you. We don't have any fancy machines with screens on them. Just the basic stuff that works if you put in the effort. It’s honest work for us, and we try to keep the atmosphere friendly for everyone who walks through the Mahavir Compound gates. We are just part of the neighborhood. It’s been that way for years.
