S.L. Harikishan & Co.

Our office is tucked away in Kriplani Estate over on Saki Vihar Road. If you know that area, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and people moving around. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze getting into the estate sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to it after being here so long. S.L. Harikishan & Co. isn't a big flashy operation. We have a few rooms where we keep our files and handle the daily paperwork. There’s always someone on the phone or sitting at a desk dealing with the logistics of the day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint and the chairs aren't the newest, but they do the job. We spend most of our time just keeping track of things and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It gets pretty humid here in Mumbai, especially in this part of town, so the fans are always running at full speed. We know the other folks in the estate pretty well by now. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or a receptionist. It’s just us doing our work, dealing with the heat, and hoping the traffic on Saki Vihar Road isn't too bad when it's time to head home. It's a plain place, but it's where we get everything sorted out every day. There is no point in making it look like something it isn't for anyone.
