Sky Way Rmc Plant

We run the Sky Way Rmc Plant from 227 Shaik Mukaram Chall. We are right opposite the Darul Salam Masjid, so we hear the calls to prayer throughout the day. It’s a very busy area and there’s always something going on in the streets. Being an RMC plant means things are usually pretty messy. There’s cement dust on everything, and the trucks are always coming and going, churning up the dirt. We spend our days watching the mixers and making sure the concrete is just right before it goes out to a site. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The office is small and usually smells like old coffee and damp paper. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. When an order comes in, we have to move fast. Sometimes the traffic in this part of town makes things difficult, but we try our best to stay on schedule. We’ve been here long enough that most people in the neighborhood know our trucks. We don’t do much advertising. Most of our work comes from people just seeing us here or hearing about us from someone else. It’s hard work, and the hours can be long, especially when there’s a big pour happening somewhere across town. We just keep our heads down, stay busy, and hope the machines don't break down at the wrong time.
