We are based out of Jai Malhar Shed number 4, right near the Kurla Signal on the E.E. Highway. It’s a very loud spot because of all the trucks and cars zooming past on the highway all day long. Our space is basically a big shed where we keep all the bearings. It’s industrial and can get quite dusty, especially with the door open to the road. We spend a lot of time moving boxes around and checking stock. Bearings are small things but they are heavy when you have a lot of them in one crate. We’ve got a small crew here who knows where every part number is kept. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s a place for work. There’s grease on some of the benches and the floor is concrete. We deal with people who need parts for their machines or vehicles. Most people just pull up near the signal and come in to pick up what they ordered. It’s a practical way to run things. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. Just shelves and tools. Sometimes the heat under the shed roof gets a bit intense in the afternoon, so we keep the fans going. It’s just a regular day-to-day business at a busy intersection. We just keep track of the inventory and make sure things get sent out to where they are supposed to go.
