We are over in the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Building on Netaji Subhash Road. It’s a well-known spot right by Charni Road, so finding us isn't too hard if you're familiar with this part of Mumbai. The building has that old-school feel to it, and the sea breeze sometimes reaches us if the wind is right. Inside, it’s mostly about the bearings. We have desks piled with ledgers and computers that always seem to be running. The pace here can be a bit fast because of where we are located. There’s always someone coming or going. We deal with a lot of phone calls throughout the day, mostly people looking for specific parts or checking on their deliveries. It’s a lot of coordination. The hallways in the building are narrow, and you often run into people from the other offices. We’ve got our routine down pretty well by now. We aren't into big speeches or flashy displays. We just keep the shelves stocked and the records updated as best as we can. When the monsoon hits, the noise of the rain on the roof makes it hard to hear anything, but we just keep working. It’s a solid place to be, right in the middle of all the city's energy. We take our lunch breaks when we can find a quiet moment, usually just eating at the desks while we look over the next set of orders. It is just a normal office doing its thing.
