Jai Sadi Maa Transport Company

We operate out of Room Number 13 in the E-4 BMC Building over at Raoli Camp. It’s in GTB Nagar, Sion East. Being Jai Sadi Maa Transport Company means we spend most of our time on the phone or out with the trucks. The office is really just a small room where we keep the logs and keys. It’s not much to look at, just some chairs and a lot of papers. The building is old and the hallways are always busy with people coming and going. Raoli Camp is a crowded spot, but it’s close to the main roads which is good for the transport business. We deal with drivers and schedules all day long. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in traffic for hours, which is just part of the job in Mumbai. We don't have a big fleet, just enough to keep things moving. The rainy season is always the hardest for us. Everything slows down then. We’ve been in this room for a few years now. The tea stall downstairs is where we get our morning start. It’s a noisy place, but we like the energy. We don’t use any complicated software to track things. A big wall calendar and a notebook usually do the trick. We just try to get the loads from one place to another without too much trouble. It’s a tough business but we’re used to it. The fan keeps us cool enough. That's about all there is to it.
