Started this garage at Ashoka Farm on Film City Road a long time ago. Most days it's just oil on the hands and trying to figure out that one rattling noise someone brought in. We're right here on K K Road, just across from the Satellite Tower. If you know the Saat Rasta area, you’ve probably driven past us. It’s a busy spot in Goregaon East. Usually, the shop opens early because there's always a line of cars or someone who broke down on their way to work. We have a few lifts and a bunch of tools that have seen better days but still work fine. It gets hot under the tin roof in the afternoons, so we take a tea break when we can. Dealing with engines is messy work. People come in worried about their gearboxes or just needing a quick oil change. We don't do anything fancy, just look at the problem and try to fix it. The traffic on Film City Road is always loud, so we have to shout over the trucks sometimes. There’s a lot of dust from the road too. My brother helps out with the parts. We keep some spares in the back room but often have to order things in. It’s just how it goes in a small shop like this. We’ve known some of the local drivers for years now. They stop by just to chat sometimes while we're working on a bumper or a brake pad.
