Our office is on the ground floor of Doshi Bhavan. It’s at number 7, right on 2nd Carpenter Street. It's a narrow street, always busy with laborers and handcarts moving things around. We’ve been here at this address for quite a while now. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for the couriers, which is good because we handle a lot of daily shipments. We do international trade and sourcing of different goods. It’s mostly paperwork, emails, and phone calls, making sure things get from one place to another without getting stuck in customs or having too much trouble. The office isn't very big at all. We have a few mismatched desks, some filing cabinets that are probably too full of old records, and a lot of tea gets consumed during the day. It’s a lot of coordination between different people. You have to keep track of the timing and all the different rules for shipping abroad. We don't have a big corporate logo or a receptionist. Just a simple painted sign so people can find the door. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even though we deal with international companies. We know the neighbors on the street well. If a delivery guy can’t find us, the shop next door usually points them in our direction. It can get a bit chaotic when three things happen at once, but we manage to stay on top of it. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to make sure the orders we handle get where they need to go.
