Simplex Infrastuture Ltd, Mumbai

Our workplace is in the Shivdarshan Building, specifically unit 4/26 on D.D. Road in Anand Nagar. This is over in Dombivli West, part of the Thane district near Mumbai. Simplex Infrastuture Ltd is the company name, and Sunil Singh is the main contact here. Being in the Mumbai metropolitan area means everything moves fast and it’s usually very crowded. Our office is a bit cramped because of all the files and equipment, but it works for us. We handle the local infrastructure side of things, which is a big job in a place that’s growing as fast as this. You can hear the trains and the traffic all day long. It’s not a quiet job, that’s for sure. We spend a lot of time traveling between the office and different sites in Thane. Sometimes the commute is the hardest part of the day. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We’re just a group of guys who know how to build things. We talk to the contractors, we check the progress, and we make sure the bills get paid. It’s messy and loud and tiring, but it’s what we do. We’ve been in this building for a while now and the neighbors know us. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just do the work as it comes and try to stay organized through all the chaos.
