Simplex Infrastructures Ltd.

You can find us over at B4/73, Shree Ganesh Chs. in Sector 28, Phase 2 of Nerul, Navi Mumbai. It’s a housing society, so the whole vibe is a lot more relaxed than if we were in a massive office tower in the middle of Mumbai. We have a few rooms dedicated to the Simplex Infrastructures Ltd. business. The windows look out onto the trees in the society compound, which is quite nice when you need a break from staring at a computer screen all morning. Navi Mumbai has its own pace, a bit slower than the main city but still pretty active. We get a lot of humidity here, so the ceiling fans are always on the highest setting. Our office is a mix of old paper ledgers and some computers that we use for the planning work. We usually have people dropping in and out throughout the day, mostly local contractors or staff members coming back from a site visit. There’s a small kitchen area in the back where we make our own coffee and tea. It’s not a corporate showroom, just a functional space where we get things done. Sometimes you can hear the neighbors’ kids playing outside, and that’s just part of being in a society like Shree Ganesh. It feels more like a community than a workplace most of the time. We’ve been in this Sector 28 spot for a long time and we’ve made the space our own with a few plants and some old photos.
