Shyam

We've been here on S V Road in Santacruz West for a good while now. Number 22 is where we set up. It’s a busy spot, always noisy with the traffic outside, but it feels like home to us. Most days start pretty early because that’s just how things go around here. People come in, ask for what they need, and we just try to help them out without making a big fuss. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that. Just a regular setup where we get the work done. Sometimes the door sticks a bit when it rains, and the desk is a little cluttered with papers, but that’s part of the charm, I guess. We know the neighbors, like the guy who sells tea around the corner. If you are walking down from the station side, you’ll find us easily enough. We don't spend much time on the internet or worrying about what other businesses are doing. We just focus on what’s right in front of us. Some people say the area has changed a lot over the years, and it has, but we’re still here doing the same things. It’s just Shyam, nothing more, nothing less. We keep the place open six days a week, though sometimes we close a bit early if it’s slow or there’s something going on at home. That's about it. We just try to stay honest and keep our heads down while we work.
