Shusbindu Manufacturing Private Limited

Our factory space is tucked away in 5B/271 Mittal Estate. It’s right near Marol Naka on A.K. Road in Andheri East. If you’ve ever been through this part of Mumbai, you know how hectic it gets. The noise from the traffic and the metro construction is always there in the background. Inside the gates, though, we’re just busy getting our work done. Shusbindu Manufacturing Private Limited has been in this estate for quite a while. We have our machines set up and the guys are usually busy on the floor from early morning. It’s not the most glamorous place, just concrete floors and the smell of metal and oil. My desk is in a small corner partitioned off by some glass. I spend most of my time looking at spreadsheets or talking to the floor manager about parts. Sometimes the electricity acts up in this building, and we all have to wait for the backup to kick in. It’s just part of being in an older industrial estate. We get a lot of trucks coming in and out near Marol Naka, so the driveway is usually blocked with crates. It can be a bit of a headache, but we manage. We aren’t a massive corporation, just a private company trying to keep the production line moving and our customers happy without making a big fuss about it. We’ve been here long enough that the place feels like a second home to most of us who work here.
