If you climb up to the first floor at 394 Pragati Colony, you’ll find our office. It’s a busy little spot. We’ve been here for a while now, handling the finances for people in the colony and the surrounding areas. It isn't the biggest office in the world, but it works for what we need. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that are starting to get full, and a couple of fans to keep the air moving. People come in with all sorts of questions about their savings. We try to answer them as best as we can without using too much jargon. It’s better to just speak plain English. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much for the older folks, so we try to make things as quick as possible for them. We see the same faces every month when it’s time to deposit or check on things. It’s a bit like a small community inside these four walls. We don't put out big ads or anything. Most people just hear about us from a neighbor or a friend. That’s fine by us. It keeps things grounded. We’re just here to do a job and help out where it makes sense. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, maybe next year. For now, we just keep the books straight and make sure everyone gets their questions answered properly without any corporate talk.
