Shubham Pharmaceutical

Our place is right on Kalbadevi Road, specifically in the Mimraj Building on the second floor. You have to walk up the stairs and we are right there in the front hall. It is a busy part of town, always lots of noise and people moving around outside. Inside, it is mostly just shelves and paperwork. We deal with various pharmaceutical supplies. It is a bit cramped sometimes because we have a lot of stock coming in. The building is older, so it has that specific smell of old wood and stone. We have been at 405 for a good bit of time now. Most of the people who come in are regulars who know exactly what they need. We do not have a big fancy reception area. It is just a counter and some chairs. My uncle started this and now a few of us manage the daily stuff. It gets hectic in the afternoons when the deliveries arrive. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the boxes pile up. Kalbadevi is a tough place to park, so most people just walk over or use a scooter. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the local shops get their orders on time. It is basic work, really. We open early and stay until the last order is packed away. The windows are usually open to let some air in from the street.
