Our office is tucked away in the Fort area of Mumbai on Mint Road. If you know the neighborhood, you know how busy it gets. We are in the Sundara Bai Building at 48/50, which has been around for quite some time. You have to walk up to the third floor and look for Room Number 7. It is a bit of a climb but we are used to it by now. The space isn't huge but it fits our computers and the few of us who work here. Mumbai-Mumbai City life is fast, especially here in the 400001 zip code, so we spend most of the day on the phones or handling export stuff and tech services. Sometimes the street noise gets loud but that is just part of being in Fort. We started this small thing because we wanted to do our own business. It is not some glass skyscraper office with fancy coffee machines. We mostly drink chai from the stall downstairs. We deal with lots of paperwork for the impex side and keep things running for the infotech part. It is honest work and we try to stay organized even when things get hectic. The building has that old Mumbai charm, even if the walls could use a bit of paint. We are just a small team trying to make it in the city. We don't have a lot of rules, we just come in and do what needs doing.
