Shrisan Enterprise

Shrisan Enterprise is based at 203/D inside the Bombay Talkies Compound in Malad West. This place has a lot of history since it used to be a famous film studio, but now it is full of small businesses like ours. It is a bit of a maze back here, with different units tucked away in every corner. Our space is functional and a bit cramped, like most places in Mumbai. We have boxes stacked up and desks that are covered in papers and samples. Malad is a crowded area, so the commute can be a bit of a nightmare, but we are used to it. The compound has a specific feel to it, a mix of the old and the new. We get a lot of noise from the neighboring units, and there is always someone moving goods on a handcart outside. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and someone will help you. We handle our own sales and our own shipping. Most of the people working here have been friends for a long time. We eat our tiffins together at lunchtime. There are no fancy mission statements on the walls. We just want to do our jobs well so we can go home to our families. It is a very grounded way of working. We know our customers by their first names and they know where to find us. Living and working in Malad West means you learn to deal with the crowds and the noise without letting it bother you.
