Our spot is on the first floor of the Chotani Building, which is Shop No. Bb-1, 52-A. We are right on Proctor Road, just off Lamington Road. If you know Mumbai, you know Lamington Road is the heart of anything electronic, so we are right where the action is. Being on the first floor means we have to haul boxes up the stairs, which is probably why we don't need to go to the gym. The building has been there for a long time and has that old-school feel to it. Inside, it is usually a bit of a mess with camera boxes, coils of wire, and various tools spread out on the benches. We deal with security systems because that is what we know best. It isn't a glamorous job, crawling under desks or climbing ladders to mount a sensor, but it keeps the lights on. We don't have any big speeches about our values or anything like that. We just show up, talk to the customers about where they want their cameras, and get to work. Sometimes it’s hot in the afternoon since the breeze doesn't always reach the middle of the building, but we just keep at it. It’s a practical business for practical people. Most of our regulars are other shop owners from the area who need to keep an eye on their stock. We like being part of the noise and the bustle of this neighborhood.
